Westville SAPS offer a free report of criminal activity in your area - delivered via SMS on your cell phone. Contact SAPS on 031 267 7350 and ask for S A C. Karen Delport to initiate this service.

You will also receive reminders of meetings and other informative messages.

Most SMS's have a suggestion such as "please leave your alarm system activated" even when sleeping or "don't leave items visible in your car".

Statistics suggest that outside lighting at night and activating alarms reduces the risk of crime.
The total crime figures will be reduced considerably if the night crime is eliminated.
