3. WELCOME:
Mr Kevin Harvey welcomed all present, especially Councillor Warwick Chapman and Councillor Fauzia Peer.
4. CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES:
Proposed by Mr Julian Carter, seconded by Supt Lionet.
5. MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES:

6. BUST OF THE MONTH:

7. .CRIME REPORT.
Supt Singh reported that Robbery, Housebreaking and Theft of Motor vehicle had stabilised. Sector 3 (Berea West) was still problematic.
8. GUEST SPEAKER:
Mr Stuart Knight, CPF Chairman of Town Hill, Pmb. Mr Knight discussed the shared active roles and responsibilities the community has in the policing of an area. He further gave examples of how crime was drastically reduced in his area. Mr Knight stated that the CPF meeting was not a complaints forum, but a stage to assist and support the combined community and SAPS efforts in combating

9. SDIP.
Mr Rusty Damp reports that his enquiries resulted in favourable responses from the complainants he contacted.
10. REPORTS BY SECURITY COMPANIES.
Mr Adrian Smith of Blue Security presented a report explaining the various percentages of where criminals gained entry to properties.
11. GENERAL.
There were several community members attending for the first time. They mentioned they knew about the meeting via the Westville Watch. A question to Mr Smith of Blue Security from the floor was whether security companies made arrests. Mr Smith answered that they did. Mrs Lyn Cunningham stated she was very disappointed that she has not received contact since her breakdown on the N3 freeway. Supt Singh replied that he had spoken to her on Friday past.
