Cell Phones and multi-tasking
Consider the temptation of answering a cell phone when actually stopped at an intersection waiting for a gap or a green traffic light. The risk may not seem to be as bad as the authorities make it out to be. Why not answer the phone as it could be important or someone interesting?

Read on and rethink the possible outcome of talking on a hand held cell phone  whilst driving.

Can you spot the motorbike in this photograph!

Now can you see it!

Apparently the driver of the car was talking on her phone whilst stopped at the approach to an intersection and proceeded to cross without noticing the motorbike that was estimated to be doing about 135kph at the time of impact.  Obviously he could not stop and had nowhere to go.

The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 6m from where the collision took place.

All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at the Motorcycle Fair by the Police and Road Safety Department.

Wake up people, stop talking on Cell phones and sms-ing while  trying to drive and don’t speed!
